Nov 13, 2014
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] released the following statement regarding the dismissal of VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Director Terry Gerigk Wolf:
“Almost two years have passed since the VA Office of Inspector General found that serious and systemic failures led to the deadly outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease at the Pittsburgh VA,” said Rothfus.
“Terry Gerigk Wolf’s dismissal is long overdue.
“The VA must do much more to provide victims’ families with answers, accountability, and transparency and to ensure that veterans receive the high-quality care and support they deserve when they visit the Pittsburgh VA.”
Congressman Rothfus has been working closely with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to bring accountability and transparency to the Pittsburgh VA. Click here for more information.
