Washington, D.C. – Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] released the following statement after the House passed the Conscience Protection Act of 2016 (H.Amdt. S. 304):

“Americans generally agree that no one should be coerced into participating in an abortion, just as no one should be forced to have an abortion,” said Congressman Rothfus. “This legislation protects the conscience rights of any American who objects to being involved in the procurement of abortions.”
