WHAT: Rep. Eli Evankovich (R-Westmoreland/Armstrong) is hosting a Veterans Appreciation Picnic for veterans residing in the 54th District and their families. Approximately 100 people are expected to attend. U.S. Rep. Keith Rothfus [PA-12] is also scheduled to attend as a special guest.

Rothfus Invites Constituents to "Coffee with Keith" in Lower Burrell with Special Guest Mayor Kinosz
Ross Township, PA – Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] today invited constituents to join him and special guest Donald Kinosz, Mayor of Lower Burrell, for “Coffee with Keith.”
“On Friday, Mayor Kinosz and I will host folks for coffee at Crouse’s Family Diner in Lower Burrell,” said Rothfus. “Constituents are encouraged to stop by to share their thoughts on legislation, to get help with federal agencies, or just to chat.”

President Obama made many promises when promoting his health care law. He promised that if you liked your coverage, you could keep it. He promised that it would lower the cost of premiums. He promised that it would create new jobs and promote economic growth.
These promises have fallen short, both in Western Pennsylvania and around the country.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12] spoke on the floor of the House of Representatives this afternoon before voting to delay the individual and employer mandates included in President Obama’s health care law.

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Keith Rothfus [PA-12], Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA), and eleven of their colleagues in the Pennsylvania congressional delegation today urged President Obama to stop the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from finalizing new regulations to limit carbon emissions from new power plants. These regulations will discourage the construction of new coal-fired power plants and the upgrading of existing facilities.
