Washington, D.C. – As part of Republicans’ continued efforts to reform our health care system and improve access to quality care, the House today passed the VETERAN Act (H.R. 2372), which would make law an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulation allowing eligible veterans to accept certain federal subsidies for private health insurance coverage instead of enrolling in health coverage provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
The Financial Choice Act was created with the aim of undoing much of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, the landmark banking law passed after the 2008 financial crisis.
