Extending Route 219
Route 219 is a critical conduit for commerce in Somerset County and Southwestern Pennsylvania. Extending 219 to Meyersdale is an important infrastructure investment and will make us a more competitive destination for commerce, grow our regional economy, and add jobs. I recently joined Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Chairman Bill Shuster at the groundbreaking of the extension. I look forward to working with Chairman Shuster and local officials to improve regional infrastructure in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
